Sheryl Goodnight |

| Sheryl Goodnight is part time instructor of flute at both Temple College and the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Highest Honors with a degree in Piano Performance and a Certificate of Flute Performance, above and beyond the requirements for a degree. She is Principle Flutist for the Temple Symphony Orchestra, performs throughout the state as a free lance musician, and maintains a private studio in her home. Her teachers include John Hicks, Karl Kraber, Torkil Bye, Helen Ann Shanley, and Megan Meisenbach. Ms. Goodnight spent several summers as a participant in master classes conducted by Julius Baker. Besides a life of music, she enjoys aerobics, ballroom dancing, reading books and magazines on tape, and spending time with family and friends, as well as with her black, short-haired dachshund, Sassi.
The works on Ms. Goodnights first CD “Debut” were committed to memory by Ms. Goodnight, as a result of legal blindness diagnosed at the age of six, resulting from retinitis pigmentosa.
